Saban Mehic
Building internet companies, one venture at a time.
Updated: 22nd of December, 2025
السلام عليكم ورØمة الله وبركاته
I'm Saban.
Bosnian born in Switzerland. My family lived through the war in Bosnia and rebuilt from nothing.
I played basketball growing up. Got serious about it. Then life happened and I had to figure out something else.
So I fell into entrepreneurship because I needed freedom and didn't know what else to do.
Started with e-commerce. Failed fast. But learned I could build decent websites.
Started an agency. Couldn't sell. So I learned sales and marketing the hard way.
Met my business partner from London. We opened a marketing agency together.
Then we realized our clients didn't need more marketing… they needed better systems and software.
So we decided to build our own.
Problem: Neither of us had ever written a line of code.
Then ChatGPT happened.
And everything changed.
I started generating code. Making 100 mistakes a day. Learning from every error.
Within months, I went from zero coding knowledge to building apps that got 135k views and paying customers.
$250 clients became $3k, then $6k, then $10k per year.
Today I work off my MacBook and iPhone. Between Bosnia and Saudi Arabia.
Building a software company with my team and scaling it globally.
But here's what bothers me:
I look at the Muslim tech space and see so much wasted potential.
Brilliant people building nothing. Or building the wrong things.
No ambition. No urgency.
We're not leading in fintech. Not in AI. Not in proptech. Nowhere.
And honestly? It pisses me off.
Not because I think we're better than anyone.
But because I know what's possible when you actually connect with other builders who get it.
That's Why I Built Founderz
It's not a community. It's not software.
It's a mix of both: tools + network access for Muslim founders who are serious about building.
Application-only. We do a 1:1 call to see if it's a fit.
If you're tired of building alone and want access to other Muslim builders, real tools, and honest feedback...
بسم الله
If not, no worries. Keep doing your thing.
Either way - let's build something that matters.
